inclusive of new voices, engaging in dialogue across boundaries, honoring traditions of the past and grounding ourselves in an ever-evolving awareness of the world around us. Particularly we pay homage to the masterwork of
Shakespeare, who has provided us with the most rich and complete exploration of
humanity in the English language and whom we establish as the foundation of our
dramatic canon.
